Direct Question = pertanyaan secara langsung.

Contoh:
Where is the bathroom?
= Di manakah bilik air?

What time does the store open?
= Pukul berapakah kedai itu dibuka?

Indirect Question = pertanyaan yang disampaikan dengan cara yang lebih halus dan sopan.

Contoh:
Could you tell me where the bathroom is?
= Bolehkah kamu memberitahu saya di manakah bilik air itu?

= Adakah kamu tahu pukul berapakah kedai itu dibuka?

🧠 RUMUS MUDAH

SOME- → biasanya untuk ayat positif

NO- → tiada
EVERY- → semua/setiap

👤 UNTUK ORANG

👉 Someone is waiting outside.
= Seseorang sedang menunggu di luar.

👉 Everyone likes holidays.

📦 UNTUK BENDA/SESUATU
something = sesuatu
anything = apa-apa/sesuatu
nothing = tiada apa-apa
everything = semuanya

Kata seperti everyone, someone, nobody dianggap sebagai singular, jadi kata kerjanya mengikuti he/she/it.

🧠 KATA KUNCI

Yesterday = semalam
Last night = malam tadi
Last week = minggu lalu/lepas
Last month = bulan lalu/lepas
Ago = yang lalu

📝 RUMUS POSITIF

Subject + Verb 2 + Object

👉 I watched a movie yesterday.
= Saya menonton filem semalam.

👉 She visited her grandmother last week.
= Dia mengunjungi neneknya minggu lalu.

❌ RUMUS NEGATIF

Subject + DID NOT (DIDN’T) + Verb 1

👉 I didn’t watch a movie yesterday.
= Saya tidak menonton filem semalam.

⚠️ Selepas didn’t, jangan gunakan Verb 2.
